Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning Youth

Pursuant to ODYS Policy 304.02 Youth Rights and Responsibilities, the purpose of this standard operating procedure shall be to ensure that youth identified as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or intersex (LGBTI) who are placed in the custody of ODYS receive fair, equal and non-discriminatory treatment and medical care, and that staff provide the highest quality of services to all youth regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
